On-site learning and virtual classroom
This program, developed by the Legal Line and the Projects Operational Department (DOP), covers specific and complex matters relating to our Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) Contracts.
The aim is to improve ENGIE’s performance by increasing our internal expertise. Through sharing this expertise we hope to: streamline negotiations, install a best practices culture, empower ourselves to select the right contracting structure, avoid complications and claims and ultimately protect the best interests of ENGIE.
During this course you will not only learn how to best to approach an EPC Contract from an ENGIE perspective, but you will also gain valuable insight into the Contractor’s point of view.
This training will enhance both your observational and analytical skills, help you better understand risk allocation and generally improve your contracts knowledge through the examination of a series of ENGIE related case studies and real life clauses.
Targeted audience: Legal line, contract managers, business developers, AIFA & financial officers, project managers, engineering.
- > Raise awareness on legally complex documents (and their interaction on the commercial, financial and technical fields), their structure and their negotiation practices
- > Present our typical risk allocation through the EPC contract template
- > Spread and apply the right tools and practices
- > Create value with EPC contracts in the context of stakeholders’ relationship (clients, banks, contractors)
They tell you about it
The real life examples. The free discussions during the workshops. The opportunity to look at it from different point of views, as the participants had different roles within the ENGIE group.
The knowledge of the trainers, their display of practical application of the contract terms through examples of existing contracts, encouragement of audience participation.
Excellent balance between legal “technical” topics, examples, operational background, impressive trainers.
How the (dry and difficult/complicated content) is brought in a very digestible way based on very practical and (to Engie) applicable cases based on the real-life experience of the teachers.
