Face to face
ENGIE People Labs have been launched in January 2018 at the initiative of ENGIE University and of the ENGIE Communication Department. Each People Lab addresses a different topic (such as climate, education, artificial intelligence, silver economy, circular economy etc.) by bringing in a societal approach.
Organized 4 to 5 times every year, the People Labs last one day and bring together members of ENGIE’s internal communities (~70%) as well as students, external changemakers, partners, customers, influencers and experts (~30%).
They consist of three key moments :
> three inspirational pitches related to the chosen topic done by external speakers ;
> an ideation exercise by using new working methodologies such as design thinking ;
> pitches done by the participants on the business ideas generated during the ideation exercise.
Following this collective intelligence day and based on the solutions proposed by the participants a written deliverable is produced. Drawing on it, one or more proposals can be incubated by the People Labs’ sponsors.
Target: ENGIE’s internal communities & external changemakers, partners, influencers, students & experts
